WXRT did a live broadcast of one of the shows and offered it at 93.1FM and 93XRT.com. The band sounded amazing and the guest appearance of Andrew Bird took the performance to another level. Chicago embraced the Winter Residency and we look forward to Wilco’s next stop.

I went to the first show and was blown away. Jeff Tweedy has never sounded so whole. His interaction with the crowd kept everyone fully engaged; something Wilco fans are not used to.

Wilco sounded great, but I can’t comment on how they looked. It was so crowded that I never actually saw the band. It actually kind of ruined the whole show for me. I was so excited to see them since I missed their last show in the fall. But going to see a live show and not being able to see the band sucks.

I thought that the shows were pretty good. I really like the fact that the Riv sells Guiness in a can! It really makes a show like Wilco even more enjoyable.

Little late here, but I was at one of the shows and it was the best Wilco show Ive seen for a long time. I loved the idea of playing their whole catalog, Wilco never disappoints, Jeff was spot on the whole night, love the way he interacts with the crowd. Really great fun night. Hopefully they will do it all again next year, Jeff said so!

Jeff is a great story teller … in lyrics & now onstage! The rooster story was the best. This was a fun night. Thanx Wilco.
