Death Cab for Cutie concert just announced!

With major summer festival appearances scheduled for Coachella and Bonnaroo, indie pop quartet Death Cab For Cutie has just announced that they’ve chosen the Chicago skyline as the backdrop for their only summer concert appearance in the city. The band will take the stage June 3rd at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, the site of last year’s sold out Wilco concert and arguably one of the most stunning performance venues in Chicago.

If the show is half as good as the Wilco show at Millenium it will still be amazing! I can’t wait to see this show. It is near the top of my list for shows this summer!

OMG! This is an amazing venue. I also saw the Wilco show there last Fall and it was awesome! I will never miss a show at this venue. I hope tickets don’t go as quickly as the Wilco tix did.

Wow I don’t know what to say other than this was deffinately the best concert that I’ve ever attended in my life. Rogue Wave opened with a great set and then Death Cab just made the performance. All I could say was wow.
